We always recommend a trial spray tan—especially for brides. Whether it’s your first tan or you’ve been in before, a trial is key to finding your perfect wedding-day glow.

We suggest booking your trial tan 2–3 weeks before your final wedding tan. This gives you time to fall in love with your custom color and make any adjustments if needed.

Pro tip: Plan your trial tan around another special event like your bridal shower, bachelorette party, or even wedding dress shopping—so every glow gets its moment!

We recommend booking your wedding spray tan 2–3 days before the big day to ensure the color is fully developed and beautifully even for your walk down the aisle.

If you're heading out early for a destination wedding, let your artist know! We can adjust your formula, add our Hydration treatment and finishing Sealer to extend the life of your tan, and set you up with the best aftercare to keep your glow flawless through every flight, photo, and celebration

Any waxing, massages, facials, manicures or pedicures will need to be done at least 24 hours before your service.

DO NOT schedule any beauty appointments after your Spray Tan.  

No stress at all! If your trial tan ends up a little too light or a touch too dark, we’ve got you. Before your final bridal tan, your artist will chat with you about how your trial developed and make any adjustments needed to get your glow just right.

We keep detailed notes on your custom formula—especially for our brides—so we can recreate (or tweak) the perfect shade for your big day. Your glow, your way. Always.

For your spray tan appointment, we kindly recommend wearing dark, loose-fitting clothing and loose shoes, such as flip-flops or slides, to ensure the best results and prevent smudging. Please avoid tight waistbands or restrictive clothing. During your session, you are welcome to undress to your comfort level—whether that’s fully nude, in your undergarments, or using the complimentary disposable garments provided. Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities!

A spray tan's lifespan can vary from person to person. The general timeframe is usually 7-10 days with proper preparation and aftercare. Keep in mind there are various factors that play in the longevity of a tan, such as hormones, medication, skin conditions, and more.

A typical spray tan session lasts about 20 to 30 minutes, including the time it takes to apply the tan and allow it to dry.

To keep your glow looking its best, it’s important to use products that are spray tan safe. To make it easy, we’ve formulated a full line of Sunless-Safe Skincare, available in-store and online.

Here’s what to avoid:

1. Baby oil or products with mineral oil and/or petroleum by-products

2. Alpha and Bete Hydroxy Acids (AHAs + BHAs)

3. Alcohol-based products (including spray sunscreens)

4. Acne treatments or exfoliating washes

5. Sulfate and Paragon based products

These ingredients can strip your tan and cause it to fade unevenly.

When showering and shaving, we recommend using a pH-balanced, gel-based body wash. Avoid harsh soaps like Dove, Oil of Olay, or Bath & Body Works body washes, as they can dry out your skin or leave residue behind.

When moisturizing, be sure your lotion is free of mineral oil to prevent fading and maintain an even tone.
